Why "Tiny Spicy Kitchen?"                           

Hi, I'm Beth. I'm a special ed teacher who loves to play in the kitchen when I'm not in the classroom.

In the fall of 2023 I moved from public schools to a private school. I knew I was facing a sizable pay cut, so I downsized and moved to a charming little tiny home in a quiet beautiful country setting just a few miles from all Knoxville, TN has to offer.

My new home is actually a converted garage. So it's kind of like a tiny home without the benefits of being built as a tiny home (all the awesome built-in organization and storage hacks, etc.). It has a small living area, a little bedroom, a laundry room, master closet, small bathroom, and a TEENY TINY KITCHEN.

I have about 6 linear feet of counter/work space split between three surfaces. There's a dishwasher, a microwave, an electric stove/oven, and a small refrigerator. 

Is it ideal? No. Far from it.

Does it work for me? Yes. Usually. ;0)

So while it's definitely not the chef's kitchen I dream of as a closet foodie, it still allows me to play with my food and create big bold flavors to share with you, straight from my tiny spicy kitchen.
